Are you curious about formal MINDFULNESS meditation or the various informal ways you can incorporate it into your daily activities?
This experiential workshop will explore mindfulness as “awareness that arises through paying attention, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.” (Jon Kabat-Zinn)
We will investigate the three key components of practice
1) INTENTION 2) ATTENTION 3) ATTITUDE
through meditation, breathing practices, mindful movement and present moment awareness exercises – including mindful eating.
Research proven benefits of practice include: stress reduction; pain management; improved focus; mental clarity and a strengthened connection to life and personal relationships.
