Yoga Nidra is an ancient tantric meditation technique in which you learn to consciously relax. This restorative practice opens the door to your true nature through the release of physical tension, deeply rooted emotions, and limiting thinking patterns.
Studies indicate one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to four hours of sleep. Yoga Nidra is known to reduce anxiety, stress, ill health, insomnia, and chronic pain.
This accessible guided experience is practiced lying in savasana. We will begin with gentle yoga postures (all levels), breathing techniques, and centering meditation. No prior yoga experience is necessary. All levels welcome.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can practice in. If you have one, please bring your yoga mat, extra blankets and pillows will help you be more comfortable during the Nidra. There are a limited number of mats, blankets and bolsters at the studio.
