BONES: The Art of Seeing & Modifying Yin's Families of Shapes
Yin Yoga Teacher
Extended Training for YYTT Grads
BONES: The Art of Seeing & Modifying Yin’s
Families of Shapes
A 15-Hour CEU Hands-on
Weekend Offering with Liza Dousson
Friday (4/24): 6-9PM
Saturday & Sunday (4/25 and 4/26): 12-3 and 4-7PM
Your 30-hour YYTT is complete. You absorbed details about Hatha & Taoist
philosophy and how relevant they are to your teaching. You learned Yin Yoga’s classic shapes and a
number of modifications – as well as some of Yin’s major themes to integrate
into a class or workshop – from basic tenets like the E.A.S.T. approach, TCM
details including the twelve meridians & five elements, fascia &
bio-tensegrity, the SNS/endocrine/vagus nerve accelerators responding to Life
Stressors and the PNS “deceleration antidote”.
You connected with the meditative component within this practice. And each of you offered a brief practice
teach to your peers. Maybe you’re
teaching classes now or plan to teach soon.
Or maybe you want more?
Then consider joining this 15-hour CEU weekend!
You’ll dive into aspects of Paul Grilley’s Functional Anatomy
concepts to better understand why differences in bones & joints impact
every student’s practice in your classroom.
NOTE: This is
NOT A TRADITIONAL ANATOMY TRAINING! We’ll revisit the same family sequences offered in the 30-hour training as our framework. You’ll learn more about why “pause” matters in your teaching, to better assess what permits, or inhibits, the YIN shapes, all the while increasing your confidence in modifications & hands-on know-how through practice in the two modules Saturday & Sunday. Leave the weekend with greater ability to see, to ask, to guide your students in their individual somatic experience of Yin Yoga, with greater connection to the inward journey.
Cost: $375 (Early Bird Special! $325 Save $50 by registering before 4/1) Register online under the Workshops Tab by clicking HERE
Certificate of Completion will be adjusted to reflect a total of 45 training
which can be
submitted to the extended curriculum listing on
