As an avid runner Annie found yoga while training for the Boston Marathon in 2010. Yoga was an excellent complement to the rigors of long distance running. Soon she discovered the mental and emotional benefits of yoga as well and was hooked! She started to go to yoga classes three to four times a week and realized she wanted to expand her practice. She has since completed her 200-hour RYT training with Recovery Yoga led by Elizabeth Johnstone and Lisa Bragaw. She has also attended Level One training with Baron Baptiste, founder of the Baptiste Institute, and will continue her training with Baron Baptiste Level Two in the summer of 2017.
Annie continues to enjoy long distance and trail running as well as strength training.
Growing up on a farm, she is an animal lover and enjoys spending her free time with her pets. Annie enjoys a vegetarian lifestyle, spending time outside and the beneficial healing of having her hands in the dirt while tending to her vegetable garden and flower beds.
Annie is very excited to continue her journey with you and looks forward to sharing her love of yoga, as well as learning from all of her students and fellow teachers.
