FITNESS

 We offer a variety of Fitness classes! Our instructors will meet you where you are and help you work toward your fitness goals. Choose from TRX, Conditioning, HIIT or CAST. Private and small group training is also available by appointment.

  • C.A.S.T. (Cardio, Abs & Strength Training)

    CAST (Cardio, Abs & Strength Training) is a fun, energetic, full-body workout incorporating cardio, abs and strength training circuits. 


    For those practicing in the studio, all equipment is provided. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat - we do have some if you don't have one that you may borrow! 


    If you are planning on working out in your own space via Zoom, have some hand weights available. You can get creative - don't worry if you don't have all the "stuff" Kerri uses in the studio. We often use large exercise balls, step platforms, resistance bands and yoga blocks in class. 


    Kerri will help you figure out how you can work the same muscle groups in a different way if you don't have all the props at home.

  • Conditioning

    Conditioning is a fun, energetic intermediate to advanced circuit training-style full-body workout! A mix of cardio, weight training, plyometrics and agility. 


    For those practicing in the studio, all equipment is provided. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat - we do have some if you don't have one that you may borrow! 


    For those practicing from your own space via Zoom, it would be great if you have a range of hand weights and a mat. If you don't have weights, be creative with whatever you have nearby (water bottles, soup cans, kids, etc... LOL!) 

  • TRX

    TRX Suspension Training is a body weight exercise which simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance and core strength. Whether you are young or old, out of shape or at the top of your game, TRX Suspension Training meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go.


    If you have never taken a TRX class, please arrange to meet with Lisa or one of the other TRX instructors prior to the class for a quick tutorial on how to adjust the straps and to learn some basic TRX movements so you feel comfortable jumping into the class.


    This class is available in person only.

  • H.I.I.T.

    HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is another fun, energetic, full-body workout. Burn off some stress, get stronger and have some fun!! 


    For those practicing in the studio, all equipment is provided. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat - we do have some if you don't have one that you may borrow! 


    For those practicing from your own space via Zoom, it would be great if you have a range of hand weights and a mat. If you don't have weights, be creative with whatever you have nearby (water bottles, soup cans, kids, etc... LOL!) 

  • Cycle

    Group Cycle (Indoor, Stationary Bikes) classes are a great way to get in a vigorous, yet really fun workout. Some classes also incorporate some upper body work using hand weights or some time on a mat doing abs! 


    Indoor cycling can be an amazing way to cross-train or cross-condition due to the low impact on the joints, yet high intensity of the class! Improve your cardiovascular endurance as well as build core and leg strength!


    Bring a small towel and water to stay hydrated. Bike pedals can accommodate sneakers or bike shoes with SPD clips. 


    Please bring clean sneakers and leave your street shoes in the lobby. Thank you! 


    If you cannot make class, please unregister online, or using the Momence app, at least 2 hours prior to class start time, so someone else can get a bike, and to avoid being charged for a missed class. 


    Class times are listed and are typically 45–60 min. For an hour class, you'll get approximately 45–55 min of "work" on your bike, the balance of the time includes warm up, cool down and stretching. You can do it!!!!! 


    Please arrive early for class to set up your bike. Please note that for safety, the front doors will be locked during class, so you may not be able to get in if you arrive after class start time. 


    We will hold registered spots for 5 minutes into class time, after that, the bike will be given to wait-listed or walk-in clients.

  • Cycle and Sculpt

    In this class, we use (optional) light weights in order to incorporate some upper body work into the ride for a full-body workout.


    Class size is limited, so please preregister and plan to arrive a few minutes before class time to set up your bike. If you cannot make class, please contact us at least 2 hours ahead of time so someone else can get a bike, and to avoid being charged for a missed class.


    Please go online to remove yourself from the schedule. You can email us at info@zenandnowct.com if you are not able to remove your registration online.


    If there is a wait list, don't be discouraged! Sign up and plan on coming. Most of the time everyone gets in! The system will automatically email you when your spot opens up. 


    Please plan to arrive early to set up your bike. The studio is locked once class starts.

  • Cycle & Abs

    An awesome all-over body and cardio workout! This is an all-levels ride. You can do it! Come in, burn off some stress while having some fun!


    Studio Cycle (Indoor, Stationary Bikes) classes are a great way to get in a vigorous, yet really fun workout.


    Indoor cycling can be an amazing way to cross-train or cross-condition due to the low impact on the joints, yet high intensity of the class! Improve your cardiovascular endurance as well as build core and leg strength!


    At the end of the cycle portion of class, we move into one of the yoga rooms and do some ab work!


    Bring a small towel and water to stay hydrated. Bike pedals can accommodate sneakers or bike shoes with clips. 


    Class size is limited, so please preregister and plan to arrive a few minutes before class time to set up your bike. If you cannot make class, please contact us at least 2 hours ahead of time so someone else can get a bike, and to avoid being charged for a missed class.

    In this class, we use (optional) light weights in order to incorporate some upper body work into the ride for a full-body workout. Following the ride, we will move into one of the yoga rooms and do some deep stretching and cool down. A great blend of cycle, strength and yoga! An awesome all-over body and cardio workout AND some deep stretching after class! This is an all-levels ride.

Indoor cycling can be an amazing way to cross-train or cross-condition due to the low impact on the joints, yet high intensity of the class! Improve your cardiovascular endurance as well as build core and leg strength!


    Bring a small towel and water to stay hydrated. Bike pedals can accommodate sneakers or bike shoes with clips. Weights are provided at the studio. We also have yoga mats to borrow, though feel free to bring your own.

  • Private Training

    Our trainers are super supportive and knowledgeable and want to help you succeed in your wellness and fitness goals! This is for you! No competition! No judgment! Progress over perfection! Private or small group yoga and personal training sessions available by appointment.


    Getting started can be the hardest thing! We are here to help keep you motivated and committed to your own self-care!
