JENINE GESINO

Jenine says she can't remember a time where fitness wasn't a part of her daily life. Her earliest memories are of playing games, running around with her 3 brothers, and as she got older splitting up onto "teams" with the neighborhood kids. She loved the sense of community being on a "team" gave her. From grade school through college Jenine played on organized sports teams. While in graduate school she turned to exercise to help make friends and manage the stress and anxiety of school. She finished her degree and became a PA-C in surgery and continued to exercise to stay healthy and clear her head after long days in the Operating Room. After the birth of her twins , Jenine started doing triathlons to get her pre-baby body back in shape and to meet new people. As the years passed, she continued to look into new ways to move her body and has tried Paddleboarding, CrossFit, Pure Barre, Adventure Racing and Yoga. Prior to Covid, she became a Certified Schwinn Spin Instructor and during Covid became licensed as an ACE personal trainer. Jenine was able to keep teaching during Covid and know that the community of athletes she saw in person or on line helped her navigate both the loneliness and uncertainty of that time. Jenine's ambition is to help others achieve their goals no matter their fitness level. She invites you to join our community at Zen & Now to start (or continue) your own journey.
