Lisa has been practicing yoga since 1996 and instructing since 2008. In her role as consultant pharmacist and providing medication management counseling services to patients, Lisa often recommends exercise and breathing techniques to complement medication regimens in an effort to improve her patients’ health and well-being. She believes in an integrative approach to wellness. Lisa enjoys learning and sharing what she loves in a positive and playful way! Lisa practices and teaches all types of yoga and has been trained in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Gravity Yoga, Yoga Trapeze, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, Roll Model Method® and so much more! In addition to yoga, she is certified in TRX and group cycling, and as a personal trainer & health coach. She is also a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher and leads Mindfulness and Meditation classes. She likes group cycling, as well as road biking, running and swimming and has completed 6 sprint triathlons. She believes that her yoga practice complements other modes of exercise and makes her a better athlete. Lisa loves introducing yoga and other wellness modalities to people who have never practiced and watching them fall in love with it and feel great! Her classes are taught with many options or modifications so regardless of ability, level of experience, or flexibility (or lack thereof) you can find what you need in class.
